I am bored and therefore I am in the mood for blogging! Isn't it fun?! I have not written much in this blog in a long time and here is why.
Well recently I got hired as Christmas causal at a retail shop to help out for the holidays. And this was a gig essentially that I got from connections and really my friend. And although I knew I should be more careful with making such commitments with friends I decided I should go and take this job. Of course I was well aware this job was only for Christmas but this still change the fact I no longer get shifts and well it's her fault. And therefore I am pissed. I mean yeah sure I'm a Christmas casual but that doesn't mean that I can't give shifts. What they can't afford me? What they can afford other people! So this means that she doesn't want me to work there clearly! And you know what I am going to do? Get passively aggressive and not talk to her for a few weeks, she will probably won't even notice that I am not talking to her for a few weeks because we only really talk every now and then. But this time I won't initiate it. Even though many times it has been her that initiates it.
And when we do meet I will tell her then - in a "I don't give shit I don't get shifts" manner. But really it a backhand comment there waiting to happen!
Of course I have to ask her when my employee discounts ends - if I don't get shifts that's cool I should milk it for what it's worth. Even though the discounts aren't actually good. Oh well.
See this is why you should work with friends because they will piss you off at some point in the future. Don't get me wrong you make friends at work but NEVER going into a working situation with a friend
